After serving a 5 year apprenticeship, Alan has been boatbuilding for 45 years and running his own business for 35 years.
The work we undertake is just about any thing to do with wooden boats including surveys. All methods of construction are covered, from traditional spike fastened to cold moulded.
Our 3,000 sq.ft workshop can house vessels up to a maximum overall length of 50ft, access if via a slipway (up to 36ft) or by crane or trolly. We have a dedicated dinghy workshop for small craft. At any time we are usually working on a minimum of three boats.
