Alasdair Grant

Alasdair trained at the Boat Building Academy, Lyme Regis, where he designed and built a traditional 17ft motor launch.

There then followed a period at David Cockwell's yard where he was engaged in new builds of high standard construction and finish together with general yacht repairs and renovations.

Returning to Scotland and the Mallaig Boatyard he undertook commercial work on large fishing vessels including a major rebuild in consequence of collision damage. Alasdair is now busy in his own premises completing a traditional 21ft motor boat which the client has commissioned for South Coast rod and lining.
