Operating as boatbuilders on the tidal Thames, Richmond Bridge Boathouses are proud of their reputation as specialists in the building of traditional wooden craft. Projects have ranged from PICCOLO a twelve-foot canoe to the LADY MAYORESS a 42-ft shallop for the Coy. of Watermen and Lightermen.

Craft have included Thames camping and racing skiffs, pleasure and racing punts, electric canoes, small launches, sail boats, whiffs, shallops and a Thames wherry.

Ranging from regular maintenance to complete restoration of craft, we offer a wealth of experience when advising you on how to maintain your traditional boat. All repairs are done with the sympathetic use of materials and a full range of traditional fittings are made in-house.
