Benefits of Membership
Newsletter
Soundings issued quarterly with information about forthcoming events, show reports, new members, etc. This is very much a practical contact medium - our 'grapevine', and contributions are sought from all members.

Helpline
A small team of experienced boatbuilders is available by telephone to help with your boatbuilding problems.

Workpool
Some members may find themselves in need of an extra pair of hands for a short period, whilst other members may have spare capacity. The workpool aims to bring both parties together to mutual advantage.

Work Exchange Scheme
An opportunity to pass on work to other members, which you are too busy to handle - of course this will have a reciprocal benefit!

Handbook
Issued to all new members giving a full membership list, details of Helpline and Workpool, etc. - updated regularly.

Eligibility for Membership
Any sole trader, firm, or company, actively carrying on a business, the major proportion of which is wooden boatbuilding and/or repairing wooden boats, within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, or Isle of Man.

Applications for membership outside the above categories may be accepted at the discretion of the committee.
