Beale Park Boat Show

A great weekend show with a large number of wooden boats on display, including several built by members of the WBTA. A central feature of the show is a lake where visitors can take free boat trips and trial some of the boats on offer. Alongside the core exhibits, are a number of family activities and entertainments. Tickets are reasonably priced and camping is available in the park.

Southampton Boat Show

The Southampton Boat Show is one of the UK's largest annual boating events with over 500 exhibitors and 1000 boats on display. For 10 days in September Mayflower Park, Southampton will be transformed into a showcase for every aspect of the leisure marine industry.

Several members of the Wooden Boatbuilders Trade Association will be exhibiting boats representing both traditional and modern construction methods. This is a great opportunity for those contemplating buying a new wooden boat to meet with experienced builders and view a broad range of craft.

The Wooden Boatbuilders Trade Association was formed in 1990 by a group of 20 founder members.

Every member of this growing Association is actively engaged in wooden boatbuilding, repair and restoration.

Our Aim is to establish a high standard of service and workmanship in the wooden boatbuilding trade which our customers can rely on.
