The Wooden Boatbuilders' Trade Association was formed in 1990 by a group of 20 founder members.Every member of this growing Association is actively engaged in wooden boatbuilding, repair and restoration.
Our Aim is to establish a high standard of service and workmanship in the wooden boatbuilding trade which our customers can rely on.Before a boatbuilder is accepted for membership, he or she must reach an agreed high standard of work and level of experience. Introductory membership is granted to members who have been in business for less than three years, after which they may apply for full Membership.
